Software Engineer Intern
  • Developed a software dependencies version management web application on a Linux machine running in Docker containers, to assist new software product releases in the television broadcasting industry.
  • Constructed RESTful APIs in Flask to process version data extracted from Nexus Repository APIs using Regex, or PostgreSQL databases using SQLAlchemy as the ORM, to generate XML reports and then push them onto FTP servers.
  • Implemented support for multiple clients and products with OOP principles to enhance system scalability by 50%. Built an automated pipeline to validate generated XML files, which improved data integrity by 30%.
  • Enhanced the UI in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, leveraging Ajax for JSON transfer and Jinja templates for server-side rendering.
  • Monitored Kubernetes cluster and OracleDB’s health status and configured a CI/CD pipeline and Cron job on GitLab for that Python script to send a health report to on-call engineers daily.

  • Crafted a React user interface and reusable components with TypeScript, CSS, and hooks for state management, deployed on Amplify.
  • Constructed a real-time data streaming pipeline using DynamoDB Streams to track sensor updates, decoupled the data ingestion with SQS as a message queue, and delivered to client-side via WebSocket API in API Gateway.
  • Implemented S3 event-driven Lambda functions in Python within a VPC to parse uploaded CSV files and store the data in RDS.
